To look up on-line or GPS directions to The Old Globe, please do not use the address of the theatre. There is only a 10-minute zone at that physical address.

Driving North
Take Interstate 5 to the Sixth Avenue exit. Turn right (north) and follow Sixth Avenue to Laurel Street. Turn right (east) on Laurel and drive straight into Balboa Park.
Driving South
Take Interstate 5 into San Diego. Exit at Sassafras Street and follow Kettner Boulevard to Laurel Street (second stop light). Turn left (east) on Laurel and drive straight into Balboa Park.
Driving East (via Harbor)
From Point Loma, take Harbor Drive west from Rosecrans. Turn left onto Laurel Street. Pass Sixth Avenue, and drive straight into Balboa Park.
Driving West
Take Interstate 8 to 163. Go south on 163 and exit at University Avenue. At the light, continue straight along Sixth Avenue to Laurel. Turn left (east) on Laurel and drive straight into Balboa Park.
Driving North
Take Interstate 5 to the B Street/Pershing exit. Turn left on B Street and continue to Park Boulevard. Turn right (north) on Park and drive to Village Place. Turn left on Village Place and continue to Old Globe Way. Turn right on Old Globe Way and continue to the valet drop-off point.
Driving South
Take Interstate 5 into San Diego. Exit at Pershing Drive exit follow onto Pershing Drive. Turn left on Florida Drive and continue to Zoo Place. Turn left on Zoo Place and continue up the hill to Park Boulevard. Turn left on Park Boulevard and continue to Village Place. Turn right on Village Place and continue to Old Globe Way. Turn right on Old Globe Way and continue to the valet drop-off point.
Driving West
Take Interstate 8 to 163. Go south on 163 and exit at University Avenue. At the light, turn left on University Avenue and continue to Park Boulevard. Turn right on Park Boulevard. Turn right on Village Place and continue to Old Globe Way. Turn right on Old Globe Way and continue to the valet drop-off point.
From Park Blvd., turn on Village Place and drive into Balboa Park. Turn right onto Old Globe Way and continue past the "Authorized Vehicles" sign until you arrive at the theatre. Patrons are permitted to park in the loading zone adjacent to our plaza for a maximum of 10 minutes.
