Wheelchair accessible seating is available in all three of our theatres. Please contact Ticket Services at (619) 23-GLOBE (234-5623) to review your options.
For the convenience of our hard of hearing and hearing-impaired patrons, The Old Globe has an Assistive Listening System in all three theatres. A limited number of lightweight headsets, as well as induction neck loops, may be obtained from the house manager prior to performances.
The Old Globe welcomes ADA-recognized service animals specifically trained to perform tasks for the benefit of patrons with disabilities including physical, sensory, psychiatric, intellectual, PTSD, or any other mental disability. Please contact Ticket Services to ensure there is a place to accommodate your service animal at your ticketed seat location.
A service animal must not cause a disruption in public and must be under the handler’s control at all times. Should the animal create any disturbance to surrounding patrons, the owner and animal may either be moved to another location or be asked to leave the venue.
Pets, Emotional Support (ESD), Therapy, or Comfort Animals do not qualify as Service Animals under the Federal guideline protections and are not permitted inside our venues.
For those who benefit from a more relaxed environment, including those with autism, and audience members with sensory sensitives, lighting and sound levels will be adjusted for a more accommodating viewing experience.
